Dara provides Soul-Focused Healing and Growth Services to Individuals, Couples, and Groups.
As a healer and a guide, Dara is both trained and naturally-gifted. She has been practicing Reiki for seven years and is Master in the Usui Method of Natural Healing. Dara has received unique healing transmissions from exceptional mentors. Far-reaching, sensitive and graceful Dara has a gift for weaving together high-level learning and daily life experience so that growth can be enjoyed as much as possible. In addition to offering private sessions, she runs workshops and groups that are focused on spiritual consciousness and relational soul growth.
Dara studied clairvoyant meditation and healing at the Church of Natural Grace, Psychic Horizons school before being ordained as a minister of the Church of Natural Grace. Her spiritual counseling and healing practice includes Reiki Energy healing, Clairvoyant Meditation and Healing, Energy Psychology Practices (EFT, TAPAS), Metaphysical Discussion, Spiritual-Existential Practices, and Spiritual Relational Work.
Dara earned her B.A. in Intellectual History from the University of Pennsylvania. She was a member of New York City’s 24-hour Homeless Outreach Team and ran a program for at-risk teenage girls in Brooklyn until she moved to San Francisco to pursue graduate work in transpersonal psychotherapy at the California Institute of Integral Studies. After Dara received her M.A. in Integral Counseling Psychology, she helped to build the foundation for the Golden Gate Integral Counseling Center by being a part of the first group to train at that center. She stayed at the center for a post-graduate internship, which she completed in December 2008.
In January 2009, Dara Salcman opened her full-time alternative healing practice Freehand Healing located on 23rd St. and Valencia St. in the Mission. She offers private sessions for Couples’ Spiritual Counseling/Healing, Individual Spiritual Counseling/Healing, Table Spiritual Healing, and Infinite Mirroring Spiritual Growth Practice for Individuals, Couples, and Groups.
